Graduated in 2014 with a BFA with an emphasis in Painting and Drawing from the University of Southern Mississippi.

About my most recent work:

My paintings of myself, my friends and family in scenes of the everyday are not merely diaristic, but work to convey intimacy and closeness as a subject matter. Through this work, I have realized that painting with a sense of care and empathy for the subject, whether it is a still life or a person I love, gives meaning to the work. I make paintings with earnest romanticism, creating work about moments in my everyday that resonate with me—not in hopes of making profound revelations, but as a slow unfolding, learning about myself and others by humbly honoring the people and places who enrich my life, identity and purpose.
